Descriptive text atau teks deskripsi adalah teks yang menggambarkan suatu objek, tempat, orang, benda, dll. 

1. Contoh descriptive text dalam sehari hari :

• Untuk mencari barang atau orang yang hilang.
• Untuk mencari tempat pariwisata atau tempat umum.
• Untuk mendeskripsikan ciri ciri barang yang di jual.
